This year forcefully transitioned our life,
Made us lose track of our routine,
Brought us changes we forcefully adapted,
Turned some of our imaginations and hopes into nightmare,
Many plans were called off,
But we are grateful our life wasn't cut off.

Many lost their life to the pandemic,
Many lost who they are to depression,
Sleepless night as our thoughts ran in a continous loop repeating the same question, 'What will happen tomorrow?'
The fear that entrapped us was even more frightening than the pandemic itself,
But still we made it through...

To some, this year was a blessing,
To others it was a lost game,
Some fought battles and won,
While some lost even before the race ended,
But whatever the case may be,
We all had our own peaks and valley this year,
But nonetheless we are still breathing...
