As my days come and go, so do the blessings.
When darkness hovers above, and there's no resolve in sight.
  I'm filled with despair, because at the end there is no light.
Praying for a miracle to brighten up my day.
A wonderful, and unexpected blessing soon came our way.
But little did I know that there'd be a price to pay.

Painfully I watched as my family fell apart.
With a weary sigh,
I gathered up my strength and carried my heavy heart.
Tears fell from my eyes as
I looked up towards the sky, and prayed on bended knees for his mercy and an answer to my pleas.

        "Lord,
  I'd give up all the 
   blessings forever,
    if you'd just let
      my family 
   live peacefully
        together. Amen! "
