My mind is a river of thoughts.
My eyes, an empty dock.
My mouth, it can't talk.
My legs, the can't walk.
The orbiting Earth can't spin.
The winning team can't win.
The lion can't enter its den.
The dimming lights can't dim.
A lion can't roar.
A flag can't soar.
A housekeeper can't mop the floors.
A myth can't be a lore.
When church bells can't ring.
When school choirs can't sing.
When doorbells can't ding.
When a prince can't be a king.
If life can't do what life does.
Then life can't be what life was.
And loving people no longer love.
So let's keep what life was.
