A lonely girl sits by the shore,
Watching the waves crash and roar.
She gazes out to the sea,
Wondering where she's meant to be.

The sand between her toes,
Feels cold and empty as she knows,
Her heart is heavy as a stone,
And she's all alone.

The wind whispers secrets in her ear,
But she can't seem to shake off the fear,
That she'll never find her way,
And forever be alone to stay.

She watches the sun set in the sky,
And wonders with a silent sigh,
If someone out there is thinking of her,
And if they'll ever find her.

But as the stars begin to shine,
She finds a glimmer of hope divine,
And knows that tomorrow is a new day,
And with it comes a brighter way.

So she stands up tall and strong,
And walks away from the shore,
Knowing that she'll find her way,
And forever be loved once more.
