The sun rises and sets everyday,
An unbroken cycle of hope,
An awakening of expectations...
expectations of good
and not of bad
to see the happiness within
not the darkness that lurks around
to make a someone smile
and not to see tears

then the day breaks
the sunset so gorgeous to view
a tear runs down my cheek
for that magnificent view
the hope for a new day begins
a new day of even more hope
a day of more smiles
and spreading the hope to all
and celebrate a new beginning
