When she walked a long way,
The darkness began to spread,
And the shadows she loved
Ran away and hid somewhere.

She remembered a shadow
That had been with her in the dark too.
Once her guide in dark times, it stood by her side.
She looked around and didn't see it.
She told herself,
"Even though it died by itself,
I was the one who killed it.
