Tired of being the one that stays
An unspoken promise made once upon the friendship.
Two paths that collided and entwined. Two souls that loved and vowed to love.
But when it time to live out those promises you were no where......
And maybe you never noticed but he tried.
You might not have seen it but he was always there.
He remained so you could always come back when you needed home.
When you walked out and left with no preamble.... no good bye.
He waited hopefull about your return and when you returned with all your scars he comforted you.
He embraced you but it was only till you got better and then you were gone Again.
And the cycle went on.
He went on loving you even when you gave your love to everyone but him.
But the hurt your left with him was unbearable.
He was the friend that stayed.
He was the only one that tried and eventually he got tired of waiting.
He got tired of being the one that stayed.
