~ MODERN LONELINESS ~
Stuck, are we not?
Within the confined space of meaning less alacrity
And motionless nihilism.
Trying to socialize through feeds and million stories with a swipe of our jittery fingers,
Seems like we lost faith in all those roadside gathering
That once ran our timeline.

Stuck, are we not?
Pacing ourselves through the present that went all digital
While somewhere within ourselves we know, we are driven by the cogs of analog existence.
Grinding within our ordinary struggle while we put out a "pretentious" face
Sort of like Heath ledger from Casanova.
Yeah, the end was just pills and syringe of anxiety and mindless OD.

Stuck, are we not?
In this bubble of modern loneliness,
Where it's all chaos in our head and fire in our bones
Trying to resuscitate the love through cheap liquor and bad sex.
Oh, how we are the victims of the violent loneliness that burns our clothes
Well, that's modern loneliness gripping hold on us
Bit by bit
And we die in fractions, finding a way through it.
