I am painting my nights with happy lies
Wishing my day could bring down the joy in heaven
But the joy in lies
Hide the truth
Pushing me back to the endless night
Where I found others
Fighting for light
The fight made me feel the bitter truth
That made me run away from my happy lies
But still bounded within the dark
The wound in my heart
Made me change my thought
The phrase of lies
Which were to make our lives
But actually were to live our lives
With my thoughtful brush
And some happy lies
Started painting the night
