The door to tomorrow,
Opens in the shadows of today,
So brush aside the path of sorrow,
And make your way.

Overwhelming seems our fault,
Slam dunking frees our vault,
Future awaits who deals the wait,
Clear the present to heal your fate.

Open heartedness kept the door ajar,
Lo and behold! Left your soul charred,
Know when to close, know when to open,
Mind is holy where pilgrims say amen.

Guard it, don't scar it,
Rest under it, don't let pests plunder it,
Clean the trash with an active broom,
And light an incense in your brighter room.
