The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
Both the old and young alike,
Crippled with fear of the virus,
Presidents and citizens brought to,
Their knees because of you,
Corona you have no respect nor regard,
For position nor status of any human,
You hold the entire earth hostage,
Like a flash flood you sweep,
Across the earth, without mercy,
You came like a thief at night,
And caught the world asleep,
Oh how you tormented, tortured and killed
As many as you could,
Like a nightmare it's hard,
To shake you off and move on,
Because of you, countries and continents alike,
Are crying unto the Lord for deliverance,
The pain is like that of a woman in labour,
We plead for grace and mercy,
God see us through this painful time...
