DRAB NIGHTS
Grim and dingy my heart grows
His words were flaccid as petals.
He decorated my soul with garlands of flowers
Where is he?
Prey to carrion flies.
My heart is cavernous,
I carry ineffable dolour in my torso.
It was to be a europhic forever.
For days and decades, our love did abide.
Returning to the same hearts, day and day.
My spirit goes falling,
But with his orphans
I sit and unfold my heart, Articulating my dismal with painted emotions.
Scars lifelong like brain tattoos,
Aaah! Rapacious grave!
