INNOCENT HAND
Gentle hand so innocently pure,
Youthful eyes gaze upon
this unfamiliar beast,
Waning pastures before,
dies times fourscore,
But love originates presently,
presenting winters with ease,
Thus heart vigorously comes alive
to feast,
Such prosperity endures,
as if stars pointed, north, south,
west towards east,
Embracing gentle light
chasing life’s breeze,
Witnessing aging wings
with rising spring,
Oh, how sickened heart once,
filled with tears despair,
Until unknowing eyes cured
Candles lighting spirit cradling cares,
Thus life longest lived,
never heaven or earth separates gifts, God humbly spares
