Run Sinner
For how long would you run?
For how long would you hide?
Your reward is here,
Why not come forward to receive?
You have wined and dined,
While time ticked and tocked away,
Warning you of its dismissal,
Asking you to desist from glutteny.
You had ignored it,
And now you run helter skelter,
Like a helpless ram,
On a Muslim celebration.
Your subjects wept,
Beginning you to be kind,
Asking for a share of their own sweat,
You had turned deaf to their pleas.
Now you loathe yourself,
You beg for their help,
Biting your fingers in regret,
And asking for another chance.
Woe unto you!
The time is here,
Run around, hide underneath the earth,
Karma would find you, karma would never forget you.
