Dark is the night,
Darker the soul,
Fathomless depths,
Stories untold in full,
to all those who listen.

Dark is light,
and light is dark.
With each unlike the other,
and yet similar to bounds of a familiar.

Creation and destruction,
all but one,
one is complete,
while other incomplete.

To be dark is to embrace fear,
light is to conquer.
but both lie
in a manner of betryal,
like a child on a trail of mischief.
