with that smile, you broke these walls
like a troop of marching soldiers you, forced your way into my being

defenceless, I danced to every tune you played, to every tempo you take .
to me it was all music and joy to my ears and soul

feigning ignorance, you watched on silently with that smile as these walls lay flat to the ground defenceless

with that smile, you, ignited a blazing fire deep within my being

with every glorious curve on your lips that fire burns,never stopping and you, never seeing

so defenceless I waited with heart thumbing anxiety,
just maybe you could say those words,

words that would heal my broken walls;
like a blind mute, you never saw and you never said
