When we feel down in life,
We tend to shut the door towards others,
Embracing the thoughts that disturbs us,
Not wanting others to feel the pain we hide amongst ourselves,
But that is what makes us vulnerable,
But that is also what makes our strengths,
By dealing things on our own,
And yet,
When as those thoughts are overflowing,
Our emotions stir like a hurricane,
All around was chaos,
Yet, in the center of it all,
Was the calm that we crave within us,
A calm that constantly shifts and adjusts its place in our lives,
And if someone else can only see that center,
From a different perspective,
From a familiar face,
From someone you can finally trust,
They will head towards you,
Not caring if chaos would occur at them,
Slowly walking towards you,
Hearing their words echoing within you,
Growing, from afar, until you can hear it,
Penetrating the walls you have built around you,
Yet they strive on,
The winds overpowering them as it changes place,
Making them stop,
Making it harder for them to reach you,
Yet they crawl towards you,
No matter what it takes to hold them back,
You don't want them to get hurt,
But as the storm grows weaker,
Unable to keep it going,
You gave all your might,
And say,
The ultimate truth,
And as the storm subsides,
All grew quiet,
They got up from their feet,
And they walk towards you,
Understanding you little by little,
Until eventually,
They see it,
That in the center of the storm,
Lies the heart of what you truly are.
