Waking from the dead,
It made me sad,
It was then I stopped being Mad,
And silenced what was unsaid.
Maybe you loved me to the sky,
You still feel I didn't try,
Did you know that I still cry,
But don't ask me to stay.
For I have let you go,
Long ago,
After it dawned to my fragile ego,
I have to leave for you to grow.
I am so fragile that you can't depend,
Unworthy with whom you should spend,
Your precious life is just around that bend,
Where you will find new people to befriend.
You may still write and not send,
I too do that and still pretend,
Stars are my thoughts that suspend,
In the skies about over your head.
I was just a rock in your path,
God must have cursed me in wrath,
And cut my heart out with scythe,
You and me were just a myth.
Love alone is not enough to live,
With a moth that's about to die,
My though was that I just should leave,
For you to find a life that isn't a lie.
Forever in each other's heart,
Shall we stay and never depart,
But you have to find a fresh start,
You deserve better than this bad tart.
