I wish I had the answers I wish I knew what to do,
I wish I could take it all away for you.
I'm doing my best to be by your side,
But your fighting with me and I just want to hide.
I've been there through thick and thin,
But the way you treat me, well where do I begin.
You scream you shout and you call me names,
You guilt trip and manipulate, say I'm to blame.
You look at me with an anger I've never seen,
Why is it you feel the need to be so mean.
I'm doing my best yet it doesn't feel enough,
I havnt got thick skin but I'm trying to be tough.
But you keep hacking away at me day after day,
Little do you know I'm praying for the strength to stay.
To stay with you and help you through this,
But it's costing me my mental health, its in bits.
I love you I truly do,
But I'm loosing myself trying to help you!
