Life inside a Diamond
Everybody sees the twinkle and shine
but fails to realize I’m trapped inside
They love the way it makes them feel
Never knowing what it took to make this beautiful enviroment real
I see where they go and what they did to keep me, the look people give when i arrive, and how gold diggers seek me
I make women cry from joy
I make men out of boys
I even been taken from my rightful owner
I even been borrowed out as a loaner
I’m a girls best friend since man has the Dog
The real me never clouds or fog
I was born to shine and i was created in several hues
Blood on my siblings the stain missed two
This continent of resources calls my bloodline blood diamonds
But we are not all dangerously found, yesterday i saved a relationship in the nick of timing
