You started playing games that I couldn't understand,
I was looking for love, not just a one-night stand,
Just before ten days of our third-year anniversary, I Iet you go,
It was the hardest thing to do, and that's something you know,
Still, I had to do it, and still, I had to let you go,
Despite knowing that it'll literally pause my life, not just slow,
Not every love story is supposed to be complete,
Sometimes, destiny intervenes with its own discrete.

I was still having a soft spot for you in my heart,
Until I came to know the other truth that shattered my heart,
I never mattered to you, and you never loved,
You just wanted to pass the time and feel loved,
In five months, you texted again, and I thought just like me you miss me too,
To my surprise, everything we went through doesn't even affect you,
Not blaming, but thanks for making me stronger and a better man,
You almost finished me, but I believe in God's plan,
I'll still have a smile on my face whenever I'll hear your name,
Life never stops sweetheart, so I wish you get everything whether it's money, success or fame,
Hence, not every love story is supposed to be complete,
Yet the lessons of our journey, I'll forever keep.
