The days of slate and chalk,
Are not easy to erase,
They hold memories,
Of my childhood,
The days of my playing,
Playing with friends,
With another children,
Children of neighborhood,
The days of stories,
Stories like sleeping pills,
The days of happiness,
Now turned into sadness,
The days of my childhood,
Created beautiful memories,
Time flown out brought me too,
Good days left behind,
Memories came along,
A beautiful part of life,
Captured in time,
Life moved on,
Childhood left behind,
Frozen to never melt,
Ended to never start,
Gone to never come back,
Now only memories left,
Have to live with them..!
