Today is my birthday,
in the month of May.
Not a great day to cherish,
Nothing to say.
Nothing special,
It's just an ordinary day.
No wishes, No greetings,
No gifts to play.

No one and nothing to blame, anyway.
No expectations,
Nothing to lose or gain,
Not even a single smile or
even a pinch of pain,
Everything is away.

No gathering, No celebration,
To rediscover my soul,
I have lots of time to pay.

Needed just a li'l message of love 'n' care to stay,
Which even my loved ones failed to convey. 

How can I claim love, I'm their shame,
As I try to find my solace in the stray. 

Oh! Happy birthday to me!
To myself, at least I can say.
You know, it's my birthday
in the month of May,
And what if it's just an ordinary day.

"You reap what you sow," wise men sometimes say.
"But no matter what we do for others,
we don't get same as pay."
I don't know
It's my assumption or
destiny's unfair relay.
But all seems beyond my control,
Probably it's a God's play.

Nothing to worry about anyway,
At least I learned
the hardest lesson of my life today..
That
"All these glitter-glamours
and worldly display.
All these false matrices
and false beliefs,
Nothing is permanent,
and no one's gonna forever stay.
&
We are born alone
and will be buried alone in the clay."

I am free now,
Not carrying any hard feelings,
Nothing to dismay.
Leaving this world of duality,
I am going away.

May God be with me, I wish,
and God bless you all, I pray.
When He is with me,
I need not to worry,
I need not to stay.

But to remind you all, I finally say,
that
Today is my "lonely" birthday,
in the month of May.
It's my "only" birthday,
in the month of May.
