Why can't you tell her how you feel?
In shadows cast by doubt's embrace,
I linger, words caught in silent space.
For fear of what her eyes may reveal,
I hide the truth I long to reveal.

In verses penned, emotions bleed,
Yet silence reigns, a fragile creed.
Her beauty stirs a tempest's reel,
But courage falters, unable to seal.

With each passing moment, hearts entwine,
Yet mine remains a prisoner, confined.
Oh, how I wish these fears to repeal,
To tell her how I feel, and let love's wheel.
