This is the black and white of me
This is where there's no in between
I don't have 50 shades of Grey believe me
What you get is what you see
A smoothe kind of fellow, real mellow
With a school of hard knocks degree
I've always overcome the negativity
Though nothing has come to me easily
I Appreciate what GOD has done for me
All that HE has given me
I thank HIM daily on bended knee
I am grateful above all indeed
As This is the black and white of me
I LooVe Hard, Passionately
I think too deeply
Imma savage when I gotta be
I am what GOD wills me to be
I stand on my own 2 feet
But I got Mad Support behind me
Even when I fall it's only temporary
They GoT me
For my FAMILY is a blessing
If I were a salad, they are my dressing
One without the other is vexing
What more can I say
They are my drive when I'm sweating
These hardships of life
That can be so depressing
I am nothing without them just saying
I count on them immensely
This is the black and white of me
As I express myself poetically
Finishing year 3 of this lyrical journey
This therapy in all its glory
has been so amazing
I've come a long way, trail Blazing
This fire inside burning
so furiously
It's warmth comforting me
In the bitter and dark times
when they appear
I believe in my GOD
I show no fear
For better or worse
He is always here
So keep in mind, let me be clear
Your mind is the soil
Your thoughts are the seeds
So be careful what you think and speak
This is what I believe
