I am only a soul
This earth has given me a lot,
from air, earth, fire, and water spot,
every element has made me, me,
to be a human with enough mass and body,

For years, I have taken everything from the earth,
as I age, I vow to give it back,
because who am I without those materials and such,
who will be I in another life as I take another plunge?

I cannot stop and thank the air and water enough,
for letting me breathe and drink without dearth,
and till I leave the body,
to claim that I am only a soul,
I will keep planting,
potted plants with greener muddier soil,

Because my love to the earth and fire is equal,
that I bow to the sunlight with naked foot and attire as a ritual,

I pledge to take care of my existence,
every day like it is a sacred temple,
I pay my gratitude to the other humans in the crowd,
being patient with the work and not complaining the failure aloud,

For I am only a soul,
I felt everything that was wrong,
realized my mistakes on time,
emancipated the sense of self to refrain from committing egoistic crime,

Now I feel emotions like a blessing,
keeping them locked when not needed and letting them play in time of the addressing,

It's truly an art and somehow a science,
to understand your surrounding,
and how it blends with your heart, body, and mind,
to not take what you are given for granted,
because you are a soul with limited chances,
to make a move and hit the mark,
make humanity better each day before you rest this lifetime's forever in exchange for the next's new start.
