DIDN'T MOVE
Out of sweat and blood for months nine,
The happily bloated mother waited fine,

Cared with sweet and savoury foods,
Members had to endure a hundred moods,

Sick mornings and tough nights,
The mother waited for her growing light,

The leaves of the calendar turned,
The tiny feet under the bump had formed,

Seeing the petty boxer in the womb ring,
Mother hoped the little one to look like him,

Baby clothes, toys- he did gather,
Started his duty even before becoming a father,

Triple trimesters were finally over,
At the hospital full family did hover,

Smeared with blood the little her- was held above,
She was held cold in the doctor's glove,

The numb broken mother could see her husband's proof,
Husband's little copy she was, but she didn't move!
SHE DIDN'T MOVE !
