A dream that vapourised with time
Something that eloped with a fading smile
Tears filled in the brightened eyes
A pale look it beholds, everybody tags it wise
A childlike heart ceased to laugh
When life gifted mockery on its behalf
A vacant stare, hands are bare
That held once every heart with care
Who comes to wipe thy tears?
Who supports thy failures?
'None', remarked that lost soul
It refuses again to become whole
Send me to a place where peace reigns
Distress, anxiety and ego it refrains
I am very tired for a war tonight
This time I wish to sleep
And there wont be anymore 'until another night'
