The fragrance of flowers,
The shade of the bowers,
Coffee that is freshly brewed,
An infant's innocent smile so true,
Amma's lap a haven of peace,
Siblings' company with laughter and ease,
The faint smell of petrichor,
The waves that wet my feet on the shore,
Books that keep my attention hooked,
My caring spouse's understanding look,
A hot cup of chai on a rainy day,
My little corner where I daily pray,
A stranger's smile on life's way,
In the circle of friends with loud guffaw,
The lazy mornings of Sundays,
The evening sun which takes my breath away,
The loving lick of my little dog,
Some spicy snacks in winter to hog,
The list goes on very long,
As more little things in my mind throng,
Little things in life seem simple,
But they are little blessings all day sprinkled,
A sensitive heart is what one needs,
For a joyous life to effortlessly lead!
