I stare at the boundless sky,
As I sit in front of the serene sea,
I keep wondering why !?
Why can't I just be me !?
I replay those old memories of-
Me being happy,
I miss those halcyon days of-
Me being just me.
I wonder who took away-
The innocence I had in me,
I wonder who took away-
The little girl that I used to be.
When I gaze back at the good old days,
I realize that I have really changed in-
Many different ways!
But I still stare at the endless sky,
As I still sit infront of the serene sea,
I keep wondering about the same thing,
From dusk till dawn-
It's funny how the human I used to be,
The old me; is actually-
"Gone"
