One, incendiary ordeal has set-off my destruction.
I sense I have certainly swallowed the red, roaring blaze.
I'm bereft of my senses, my skin cold and ashen.
There's no view of what lingers beyond the haze.

Further shortening my scant span, I have on this earth.
I am perilously racked with a deep bone hugging chill.
I'm cruelly faced with my lack of self-worth.
I fear from this point, it may all be downhill.

Who, could have heinously planned my demise?
"What did I say or do?", I keep keep asking.
It figuratively could be anyone, I now realize.

and before, I'm ultimately knocked down and ablaze.
Before you administer the tactics of the jackboot,
I'm unaware of you, yet I'm sorry, forever and always.
