"Every Soul"
#WritcoPoemPrompt8

Every soul that passes the gate,
Has passed a test of fate,
Trudging along on tired feet,
Almost there, refusing to be beat.

A test of throwback memories,
Questions lingering like enemies,
Deep breath nervously you fool of shit,
As you remember the person you hit.

You failed during your existence,
Now you see the importance,
Of a life doing good deeds,
But what you did is take weeds.

Your soul is hanging in the middle,
Like how your skin turns wrinkles,
Appreciating your life, it's late,
You let the evil win in every bait.

Now eyes swelling, tears like rain,
Angel and Evil fighting inside your brain,
Made things worse by choosing a bad side,
Evil smiled like the ocean so wide.

What you choose is for you to embrace,
Your life is precious in every race,
Guard it so well like a warrior in a battle,
Your life and soul are precious don't make it scramble.
