Ode To The Whispering Queen
I had my king, my people, and all that I desired.
I saw that all my deeds were adding oil to the fire.
A kingdom rose to the south of our fair lands.
I saw to end this task with my own bare hands.
To rid our home of all who did not belong.
By the gods, I didn't know all I did was wrong.
Despite my role as queen, I overstept
my bounds.
A war begone and my own climbed to their mounds.
I sent my hand behind enemy lines.
I killed another because I myself was blind.
By my love for the kingdom and it's mighty rule.
I saw myself as a queen, but I was just the fool.
A crownless queen now romes the land, with redemption in her heart.
I swear to all with my dying breath,no longer will I play that part.
