words are like a silent tool
that stay hidden away
they hold your hurt and hold your pain
and keep it all at bay
they talk of scars one cannot see
a mask of broken hearts
a million stars collide in one
but you cant see its spark
sometimes words stay hiding there
safe and locked in chains
fear to say just one thing wrong
exposing all your pain
but sometimes words can get let out
a star that lights the night
within the pain, words bring hope
