We Are Getting Older

Another month is added
Another count down begins
Everyone knows this month is the shortest
There are little expectations
Only the news of love and break up.

With that, my memories glances back
Like yesterday I can still recollect the crawling me
Crying for Mama's breast
Now I am branching out to the storm called life.

We are getting older
Why won't we? It's not as if the time stop counting.
You just have to look in the mirror,
To see those body part enlargements.

Indeed, we are getting older.
When our eyes is full of what the heart experience,
And the black hair is turning gray.
The eye of graying shadows.

We are getting older
Didn't we learn from the previous generation?
Aren't there books to read and pictures drawn about it?
The eyes have seen it and the mouth said it all.
Yes, we are getting older, even though the mind might not know it.
