I remember how a few months ago I shed enough tears to drown,
How I begged myself to forget everything because I needed to move on.
I did it—now I dream of no one and have nothing to fantasize;
The waves of my emotions suddenly dry.
I emptied my heart for new possibilities, not to feel hollow;
I broke all the rules myself—now I am not sure what to follow.
Everything seems so calm, and horror climbs its way,
But I can sense the storm dancing and getting ready to play.
