I just don’t understand,
This sorrow that I feel,
And at times I’ve often asked,
“Are You even real?”
Do You see the sadness?,
And the hurt I hold inside?
Do You care about my life?
Do You care for me when I cry?
Do You truly love me?
Do You truly see me as Your own?
Are You with me always?
Or am I forever alone?
Do You have a purpose?
Though I may not see?
It feels like You’re only at the surface,
When I’m drowning in the deep.
Please reveal Yourself to me,
Because I desperately need to know,
That I truly have a Heavenly Father,
Who loves me as His own.
