In the distance I saw it
I wanted to reach it
but my legs gave away beneath me
I struggled to be upright.
Then gave up.......
Told myself it is a mirage of hope
but then another passed me
a man more desperate than me
he struggled and struggled but he too fell
but he never gave up...
He started crawling and reached there
I told myself it is a mirage... it matter not
but then I saw his hard work bear fruit.
then I thought... if I hadn't gave up.
