MY WORD
Bunch of thoughts at the forefront of my brain
Plummeted like the falling of the rain
A colloquy with my spirit, so my mind gets the gain
I burgeon the moment, knowing I'll still do it again
I'm talking to my self, now don't think I'm insane
It's a feeling that can't be given a name
Or a persona, just so you can see we're not the same
So I remain mysterious like I don't know how to play the game
But I'm belligerent, I got that attitude of a lion
I'm not conceited, the laudatory is for the king of Zion
And as the sun was peeking over the horizon
I try to forget, just so I could let all bygones be bygones
Holding unto frivolities is time wasting
I have a protean kind of lateral thinking
I'm not putting myself on a pedestal, I'm just valiant with my writing
So stop hating, I hate it, moreso the ones that do it with a little bit of backstabbing
I really want to discern those wolves in sheep's clothing
Hypocrites judge you, not knowing they too are backsliding
I give you my word, I'm a maverick
I don't remaining aloof, I'm altruistic
And you see I'm humble, I bow when I have to bow, but I only bow down to my king
Since I was in my mother's womb, he'd already placed the gifts within
So I have gratitude coming from my soul
I'm never in consternation, knowing he's still in control

In this journey, he guides me
Everything I need is already inside me
I don't chase, I attract, What's meant for me will eventually find me.
