Drifting " Wood"
Upon the shore, where waves meet sand,
A lady lingers, heart in hand.

Her husband's love, like ocean's tide,
Drifted away, no longer by her side.

Each day she comes, to beach's embrace,
Memories vivid, in time's gentle pace.
Driftwood of past, now weathered and worn,
Like her friendship's bond, once brightly adorned.

The sea's endless dance, a mirror to her grief,
Teaching lessons of time, beyond belief.
It ebbs and flows, just as the years,
Washing away both joy and tears.

In sands of time, she finds her way,
Finding solace in the beach's sway.
Driftwood and waves, companions true,
Whispering tales of love anew.

With each passing day, her heart finds ease,
As sea and sand help heal and appease.
Though past may fade like footprints in foam,
Her love endures, in this beachside home.
