Too young _
Too fragile,
and too soft.

The lips that touched mine,
Left a lingering promise,
That they will only touch mine _
In this lifetime, and for lifetimes to come .

Too tender,
Yet enticing,
And addictive .

But they seem cold _
And blue .
l see them .
And remember their taste.
As l reluctantly pass over your coffin.
