A Reflection
Not a forest dark and deep, nor walls that reach the sky,
No farewell to sadness, nor a teardrop's goodbye.
Holding space for shadows, where they softly hide,
Letting darkness guide you, with a gentle tide.

Not a heart that drowns in sorrow, nor a mind on fast-forward's chase,
But with grace you listen, to every thought's embrace.
Acknowledging all you feel, the hurt, the doubt, the fear,
Letting vulnerabilities mend, with each passing tear.

Like clouds that shade the sun, on a scorching summer's day,
Or fireflies that flicker, lighting up the way,

Self-love's a carved-out haven, where your true self can be.
Not a sanctuary for one, but a well of empathy.
For true compassion blossoms, from the seeds we sow within,
Embracing every broken piece, to let the healing begin.

Let tears flow free, let laughter ring,
Scream your sorrows, let your joys take wing.
Self-love, a blooming flower, in a heart that cares,
A nurtured garden, where compassion shares.
