When this is over
Will the bodies be dug out once more,
For a proper burial, for a last goodbye..??
Or will the Earth be too sore,
To handle the weight of the tears we cry..??

When this is over
Will the Earth continue to breathe like a great lung..??
Will the animals roam freely to sing the songs unsung..??
Will the flowers still bloom unfolding their beauty..??
Or will the humans infest it again...
