A Moment With God
#WritcoPoemPrompt37
In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams.

Your eyelids shut against the balls,
And then a thought came alive;
That whose genesis, you can't recall,
whose revelation, you can't decide.

Then at dawn, it dawned on you
That a precious visitor had just left.
The one that drives the moon in the night,
The one that ignite the sun and its light.

But you couldn't table your heart desires.
Neither could you remember His face,
Nor His robe and attires.
You forgot all but " what he says "
