Dear Sam,
I did not have the words then but now I want to affirm
Perfect relationship for a poet is spelt as damned
It is bittersweet, happy and sad
It makes the good boy really go bad
What can I say when we talk about love in it's perfect stance?
But deep in the heart, reality hits and we give the instance
We talk about love when we haven't felt loved
We know what it's like to hurt even when we haven't been hurt
We caress emotions when we haven't known what it feels like
With our thoughts, with our words, with the ink, we paint the pictures alike
There is no perfect relationship
There is just a matured mind that works for a perfect friendship
If love and relationships were to be as it were, perfect
No man or woman would reason in a relationship to defect
