Release me she said
And my heart is being nursed by a maid
All the attention given, all the time taken
Lies were told and the foundation was shaken
In an instant all the dreams were dashed
And in all my despair, she seemed unfazed
Heart broken, her betrayal was her love token
Outspoken, she had broken the trust quiet often
Will i heal from this pain or I will just wither away
Yes I think of her each passing moment of the day
