Illusionary Portrait
#WritcoPoemPrompt48
This was an illusion.
Or maybe not?
He could see through the past.
Adventures turning seed to plant.
The shattered window of the lively dreams,
The monotonous sound of the harmonious screams.
This could be an illusion,
She being an intrusion.
The broken glasses maybe told the truth,
She was supposed to be so couth.
He still shivers to that thought,
She was his last comfort.
