Outside I can hear the rain pouring down!
Didn’t think that it would make frown!
Begging the rain to take me with it and let me drown!

I’ve fallen deeper into that dark abyss!
How I feel it’s always hit or miss!
Haven’t ever had that feeling of bliss!

Don’t know why I’m always feeling like this!
My feelings they always dismiss!
Have I been touched by that of a poisonous kiss?

I can fake a smile with the best of them!
My thoughts will they condemn?
Not a special person I’m no hidden gem!

I hate myself for each and every mistake I’ve made!
I’m not some game to be played!
Yes my life for someone else I would trade!

Many times my life I’ve thought of ending with a sharp blade!
Makes me wonder if there’s any reasons why I’ve somehow stayed?
Maybe my life’s end is just being delayed!

Many a night I’ve thought and prayed!
Is there an unknown debt I haven’t paid?
If I chose to say goodbye changing my mind it’s me you won’t persuade!

Through this dark river in my mind through it I’m trying to wade!
Slowly I find myself starting to fade!
All these demons you can no longer evade!

Feels like everyone in your life you they’ve betrayed!
If you died your head says they’d throw a parade!
The demons they’re winning any positive thing they’re starting to invade!

Guesx you must lay in the bed you’ve made!
These demons in disguise like a masquerade!
What if your life really is just a game in the devil’s arcade?

Do you need to remain unafraid?
Is every moment of happiness you’ve shown all just one big charade?
Wirh God by your side you shouldn’t feel afraid!

Here comes the devil with his tyrannical tirade!
Off God’s path too much he says you’ve strayed!
Who you are he continues to degrade!

Now you’re feeling completely and utterly dismayed!
To believe in yourself the devil continues to try and dissuade!
Maybe in your mind time to put up a Godly blockade!

Every option have you weighed?
Are with the devil or God’s brigade?
Whose path will you join the crusade?
