Title- "The Oldest Thing I clothe myself in is my bedecked skin":
So what’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?
------------------------------------------
"The Oldest Thing I wear today, of course Is my skin, it's here to stay.
It's been with me since I was born,
And it's still going strong, even this morn."

"Oh, the oldest thing I clothe myself in all day,
Is my skin, it's here to stay i pray,
A constant companion, night and day,
Through every moment, every way."

It's been donned by me since I was born,
A delicate canvas, now little worn.

With every scratch ,every line, every scar,
A map of my life, so far.

It's seen me through thick and thin,
Through heartache and weaknesses, within.

It's also felt the warmth of love's embrace,
And the sting of time's erase.

But still, it's here, it's strong,
A testament to life, so long.

A reminder of every step,
A symbol of every hope and leap.

It's descried me through thick and thin,
Through laughter and through tears, within.

It's protected me from the sun and rain,
And helped me to maintain.

When I wax poetic, one hair at a time,
I make my skin so velvety smooth, it's simply sublime.

I pluck each strand, a delicate crime,
But oh, the relief that's mine.

In the mirror's gleam, everyday I see my face,
A canvas so smooth, a work of grace.

One hair at a time, I wax with care,
My skin is so silky, beyond compare.

My skin, once coarse, is now sleek & satiny fine,
Now starts sliding through life, leaving worries behind.

The nails, a canvas, I paint with such ease,
My cuticle, a masterpiece, if you please.

Oh, our skin so fair and delicate, a canvas so fine,
Protecting all that's within, a treasure divine.

Each hair, a strand of gold, a story to tell,
Sliding through life, a journey so swell.

Oh, skin so fair and delicate, a canvas so fine,
Protecting all that's within, a treasure divine.

With each hair so carefully placed, a work of art,
A velvety smooth surface, a masterpiece to start.

Each strand of hair, sliding a journey so grand,
A pathway for the light, to touch this land.

Smooth and silky, like a gentle breeze,
My skin glows with health, with radiance it tease.

I scream, my skin too, in delight,
As the sun's rays are kept at bay, so bright.

But then, I scream, my skin too screams,
We all scream for sunscreen, it seems.

I slather on, with reckless abandon,
For a complexion that's always in demand.

For though it's not an big expense, it's skin-vestment,
And i confess, a wise investment.

Sunscreen, a treasure so true,
A shield against the sun's fierce hue.

Not an expense, a skin-vestment, I say,
For healthy skin, it's the only way.

The world may see, a flawless face,
But I know the truth, a waxed embrace.

With every hair, a new tale unfolds,
Of strength and resilience, of life's mold.

And as I smooth on my sunscreen, I pray,
For the beauty and grace of each passing day.

So I'll keep waxing, one hair at a time,
My skin so smooth, a rhyme in mind.

For beauty is within, and without,
A reflection of my soul, a precious rout.

Each hair, a battle won, a fight,
For a radiant glow, that's always in sight.

Thus here I'll stay, in this sun-kissed glow, where my skin's smooth, and my worries slow.

So, my skin, is the oldest thing I wear,
A constant companion, always near.

From birth it's been with me, never far,
Through every moment, it's been a star.

It's seen me through joy and despair,
Through every step, it's been there.

It's weathered every storm and shine,
A true companion, all the time.

It's witnessed every smile and tear,
And kept me safe, through all the years.

It's the oldest thing I wear today,
A treasured gift, in every way

My skin is a part of me,
It's what makes me unique, you see.

It's a map of my life,
With every scar and every strife.

So let us all cherish our skin, this gift so rare,
And honor it well, with love and care.

For it shields our insides, and keeps us whole,
A treasure to behold, a work of art, a soul.

Thus I'm grateful for my skin,
It's the oldest thing I wear within.

As it's a gift from above,
And I'm filled with love.

So let me cherish this skin of mine,
And treat it with the utmost fine.

For it's the only one I have,
And it's been with me since I was born, and it's still going strong.🙏
