62ND LETTER
O Lord, help me walk through Your path,
That my soul wouldn't end up being damned.
My journey through mortal life is not long,
Even if I live a thousand years.
My destination in eternity lies between two homes:
The final gain for man's journey through mortal life,
The Lord's own, the blissful heaven,
Or the agonizing hell for those who miss their road.
O Lord, help me walk through Your path,
That my soul wouldn't end up being damned.
Nothing a man can gain on earth
Is worth the price for a soul to be damned in hell.
